Street: Dead Highway

Description

Once, an endless stream of cars moved along this highway. Now only the wind drives dust... and sometimes something worse. The asphalt has cracked, the lane markings have worn away, and abandoned cars stand as if their drivers just stepped out "for a minute" and never came back. The road stretches straight, far ahead, too calm for it to be true. Few people stop here... and they are right not to. Because if the highway seems dead, that does not mean it is empty. The place seems quiet and even safe. But in this world, "quiet" usually means you just have not yet understood what the problem is.
