Street: Highway of Emptiness

The road turns right, smooth and almost neat... as if order still exists here. But the longer you look, the more clearly you understand: it is just emptiness shaped like a road. The asphalt is intact in places, too intact for this place, and that only makes it more unsettling. No cars, no tracks, no sounds; even the wind seems to avoid this stretch. It feels as if the path is safe... and that is what alarms you most. Nothing happens here. And that is the worst part.
